Backstory: I've recently moved to New York City, and so I won't be needing my truck any more. I bought it from a friend in Arkansas who owns a dealership last November (2018)--he bought it at an auction with me in mind. It seems very well kept-up and maintained, and because winters in Arkansas are mild it probably hasn't been exposed to a lot of road salt. My friend put four brand new tires on it for me, changed a belt that he thought looked potentially bad, and looked the truck over thoroughly with an expert's eye before he sold it to me. I've put under 3000 miles on it since, almost all highway miles as I'm in the city now and don't drive here. Engine: The truck has about 195k miles on it (a little over 193k as of this posting, but I'm still driving it for a couple weeks so I'm being generous with the interim miles). I'm certain it'll go for a lot more. No oil leaks, or any other mechanical problems to speak of. Gets good gas mileage for a truck. There's a very occasional belt squeal, which only lasts for a few seconds, usually right after I start the truck and only in cold weather. Interior: In great shape, overall, with a couple of minor issues. There are some stains on the seats and floorboards--nothing too egregious, just what you'd usually find on a vehicle that's fifteen years old. The CD player doesn't work, but the cassette player does, and I'm happy to throw in the cassette adapter that allows you to play music through your smartphone--sounds pretty good, actually! AC is cold, Heater works great too. The driver's side window seems to be off the track slightly, and it's a little slow going up some times. But it works and it's never given me any real trouble. Body: There are a couple of cracks in the fiberglass on the front bumper. They're barely noticeable, in my opinion. Pictures attached. There's a minor dent in the cab roof, but my friend dabbed it with some matched paint and it blends in so well I never notice it now. The plastic handle on the tailgate snapped off one day when I went to open it. It opens easily with a screwdriver now. I've purchased an aftermarket replacement handle from Amazon (all the reviews say it works great and that you won't notice; it looks just like the old one), and plan to fix it as soon as possible. If I get time to do so, I'll update this listing to reflect that. Otherwise, I'll include the part in the listing, and send the YouTube video that shows how to replace it--looks pretty straightforward). I put a topper (camper shell) on it, which fits the bed nicely but wasn't made for the truck, so it rides about two inches higher than the cab. I think it looks decent, though, and it keeps the rain out. One of the handles locks, and I have two keys for it. There's also a bed liner installed. Overall: a great little pickup! I have 100% confidence in this truck. It drives great, starts right up even in cold weather, handles well. I wish I could keep it!
